Touratech has completed its rider gear range with the introduction of the all-new DUSTRIDER, a highly versatile textile motorcycle suit designed to perform across an exceptionally broad range of riding conditions. Developed using more than 15 years of experience in the premium motorcycle apparel sector, the DUSTRIDER combines advanced ventilation, high levels of protection and a flexible weather protection system, making it equally suited to road touring, long-distance adventure riding and demanding off-road use.
Designed as a true all-rounder, the DUSTRIDER features extensive 3D mesh ventilation panels across the chest, sides, back and thighs to maximise airflow in warm conditions. Additional ventilation openings in the shoulders and a dual-zip cuff design further improve cooling, particularly during slower off-road riding and high-temperature conditions.
Touratech has combined abrasion-resistant base materials with elastic inserts and strategically reinforced impact zones to enhance both durability and comfort. High-wear areas including the seat, inner thighs and key contact points feature reinforced ripstop fabric, while leather inserts on the inner knees improve grip and control when standing on the pegs or riding aggressively off-road. Anti-slip materials in the seat area further enhance stability and rider confidence.
Safety has also been prioritised throughout the DUSTRIDER’s design. The suit comes equipped with premium Seeflex and Seesoft protectors as standard, including Level 2 shoulder, elbow, knee and back protection, alongside Level 1 hip protectors. Both the jacket and trousers are certified to the demanding AA protection standard under EN 17092-3:2020.
Comfort and practicality have also played a major role in the suit’s development. Designed with a regular fit that balances freedom of movement with aerodynamic comfort at speed, the DUSTRIDER includes multiple adjustment points on the sleeves, cuffs and waist, alongside stretch panels in the arms and shoulders to improve mobility. Long leg zips make the trousers easier to put on while also allowing easier access to boot fastenings, while the elasticated lower leg design allows riders to wear the trousers either inside or over adventure boots depending on preference.
Practical storage is another standout feature, with the DUSTRIDER offering a total of 15 pockets across the jacket, trousers and waterproof outer layer. Several pockets are water-repellent, while a dedicated hydration bladder compartment with hose routing has also been integrated into the jacket.
Weather protection is handled by a separate high-quality three-layer Hydratex laminate suit, included as part of the system. Both waterproof and breathable, the rain jacket and trousers can be worn either over or underneath the DUSTRIDER thanks to Touratech’s flexible “over-under” concept, allowing riders to adapt quickly to changing weather conditions.
The weatherproof layer is designed to pack down compactly for storage, while full-length leg zips make the waterproof trousers easy to fit over boots. Reflective panels on the chest, arms, back and legs further improve visibility in poor weather and low-light conditions.
One of the DUSTRIDER’s most unique features is its adaptability for more aggressive off-road riding. The protectors can be removed from the jacket and replaced with a separate protection vest, allowing the outer jacket to function as an additional abrasion-resistant shell during technical off-road use.
