With just days to go, before the opening round of the 2022 Irish Minibike Championship series, we have some very exciting news coming over the coming days. The first is the announcement of a ‘New’ trophy presented to the club by John Magans, better known to everyone in the motorcycle fraternity as John Mago. In the past, John has been heavily involved in both road and short circuit racing, having sponsored various riders over the years. His passion for the sport lies with ‘Two Stroke Racing’ and with this in mind, the new Trophy, to be known as the ‘Mago Racing’ Perpetual Trophy, will be awarded to the highest points scoring competitor on a ‘Two Stroke’ machine. This will include riders from both the Junior ‘Elite’ and Senior ‘Open’ classes. The cup, along with a cash award of £150.00 ( sponsored by Mago Racing) will be presented to the winner at the awards night at the end of the race season.

The first race of the season takes place at Kirkistown Race Circuit, on Saturday 9th April, starting at 10.00 am. There will be 40 sessions, so plenty of action. Admission is £5.00, pay at the gate.
