SHARK Helmets has expanded its SKWAL CUP range with a striking new Eric Granado Replica edition, paying tribute to the Brazilian racing star with one of the boldest graphics in the collection. Inspired by the track-focused AERON GP helmet, the SKWAL CUP was introduced last year as a sport riding helmet that blends race-inspired styling with everyday practicality. The latest addition celebrates six-time Brazilian Superbike Champion Eric Granado, who has enjoyed success in MotoE and currently competes in the Harley-Davidson World Bagger Championship. The new replica design draws heavily on the colours of the Brazilian flag and features Granado’s iconic race number 51, creating a distinctive look both on the road and at the track.
Constructed from polycarbonate, the SKWAL CUP has been developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to optimise aerodynamic performance. A prominent rear spoiler, or SHARK FIN, helps reduce drag and improve high-speed stability, while front air intakes and dual rear exhaust vents provide effective ventilation in a variety of riding conditions. The helmet is equipped with the same Optical Class 1 visor found on SHARK’s flagship AERON GP, offering excellent optical clarity with an anti-scratch coating. An internal drop-down sun visor, adjustable visor locking system and an included Pinlock anti-fog insert ensure clear vision in changing weather conditions. Continuing its racing credentials, the SKWAL CUP uses a Double D-ring fastening system, the preferred choice in professional motorcycle racing thanks to its security, low weight and ease of adjustment.
The helmet is also prepared for the SENA for SHARK communication system, supporting both Bluetooth and Mesh technology, with communication units available separately. Comfort has not been overlooked. The interior features ALVEOTECH SANITIZED® suede lining with antibacterial properties, while SHARK’s Easy Fit system provides extra comfort for riders who wear glasses. The cheek pads and interior lining are removable and machine washable. Alongside the new Granado Replica, SHARK also offers replica graphics inspired by Scott Redding and Johann Zarco, as well as a MotoGP-inspired black and red SKWAL CUP design. All race replica models are supplied with an additional tinted visor as part of the package.
