Look what just arrived to the Bike Buyers Guide Headquarters in Dublin! This is the new Bell MX-9 Adventure MIPS helmet that will be worn by Justin Delaney whilst adventure riding. From the roughest single-track to urban blacktop, the MX-9 Adventure MIPS has been designed to get you there safely in style. Bell have essentially taken their already popular MX-9 and added even more capability with an integrated anti-fog, anti-scratch clear faceshield for 2023.

The shield flips up and leaves enough room for goggles in extreme conditions, or it can be removed completely. Conversely, the adjustable visor can be removed for a stealth street look. MIPS protection, Velocity Flow ventilation, and a removable, washable, anti-microbial liner round out a highly adaptable package and we can’t wait to do some more miles with the MX-9.

There are a number of different colour ways to choose from but our Flo yellow version came with a second dark smoke visor which is ideal for the low sunlight this time of the year.

Check out the highlights below!

  • MIPS®-EQUIPPED — MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System, which is a leading slip-plane technology inside the helmet designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts.
  • 3 SHELL SIZES — Typical offering requires additional padding sizes to accommodate all head sizes.
  • ANTI-BACTERIAL LINER — Washable liner with quick-drying materials. Inhibits growth of odor-causing bacteria and fungi.

Keep an eye on our print magazine for more information about this helmet.
