With the introduction of the Denali D3 and Denali D7 Pro, Touratech expands its range with two of the most powerful LED auxiliary headlights currently available for motorcycles. Designed to deliver exceptional road illumination, both models also stand out for their seamless integration with modern motorcycle electronics and their extensive configuration options. While standard lighting systems on modern motorcycles are sufficient in many conditions, they can quickly reach their limits in poor visibility. Riding at night, in heavy rain or fog, or on unpaved terrain presents challenges where additional lighting becomes a significant safety advantage. Auxiliary headlights provide a higher light output, a wider beam spread and greater range, improving both road visibility and the rider’s presence to other road users.
At the heart of the Denali system is the GEN II CANsmart control unit. This allows model-specific integration with a motorcycle’s CAN bus system, using dedicated connectors and compatible software. On supported BMW models, the auxiliary lights can be operated using the existing handlebar controls or the BMW Multi Controller, removing the need for additional switches. Riders can also customise settings via a laptop using the CANsmart Accessory Manager, adjusting brightness, beam modes and operating behaviour to suit their preferences. The Denali D3 is the more compact of the two options but still delivers impressive performance. Featuring three Cree LEDs, it produces 2,100 lumens while consuming just 11 watts per unit. Its TriOptic lens system allows riders to switch between a focused long-range beam and a wider spread for improved terrain visibility. The unit is fully waterproof and built to withstand demanding conditions.
For those seeking maximum performance, the Denali D7 Pro represents the top of the range. Equipped with seven high-output LEDs, it delivers an impressive 11,900 lumens. Its advanced dual-beam technology allows independent control of flood and spot lighting, while multiple operating modes, including daytime running light and indicator integration, offer further versatility. With robust construction rated for extreme conditions, the D7 Pro is designed for riders who demand the highest level of performance.
Both systems are supplied with model-specific mounting solutions and are now available through the Touratech online store. www.touratech.de
