The Collection, Produced in Collaboration with The Moulsdale Foundation, is a display of twelve sublime bikes from the ’80s-’00s that will make up an all-new feature at MCL26, in Association with Bikesure. They are part of a mix of new and exciting displays at this year’s event, all taking place from 21–29 November at the NEC, Birmingham.

The Moulsdale Foundation is a charitable foundation and collection based on the outskirts of Glasgow that houses in excess of 400 motorcycles and 300 cars, a number that ebbs & flows regularly due to vehicles from private individuals & collections generously being loaned for the public to view on their monthly open day. MCL arranged for Mike Armitage, Editor of Classic Bike, to spend a day trawling the exhibits to handpick his top-twelve.

Mike has selected everything from a high-mileage Honda MBX80 to Kawasaki’s iconic GPZ750 Turbo, along with a Suzuki RG500, Foggy Petronas FP1, Mike Hailwood replica Ducati, and seven other breath-taking machines.

This is a highly eclectic display of bikes from the recent past and is sure to inspire nostalgia for thousands of visitors this November.

The collection is open once a month for visitors and all proceeds go directly to the Foundation to support its charitable works. Find out more – Home – Moulsdale Foundation.
