Akrapovič has launched two new Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust systems designed for several Ducati models to increase the Slovenian company’s range of products available to Ducatistas.

The Slip-On Line (Titanium) for the Ducati Multistrada V2 and V2 S is constructed from a sandblasted lightweight titanium muffler outer sleeve over a stainless-steel inner, featuring an imprint for a dynamic appearance and a monochrome logo for a complete striking visual finish. Completing the ensemble is a handmade carbon-fibre end cap and heatshield designed to protect the rider’s gear.

Lightweight materials create a weight reduction of 5.1% (0.2 kg) over a standard stock exhaust system, with performance increases of 0.7 kW (0.9 hp) at 3,000 rpm and 3.0 Nm at 3,000 rpm in power and torque, respectively, when compared to a Ducati Multistrada V2 equipped with a standard stock exhaust system and tested on the in-house dyno.

The addition of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust produces a deep sound from the twin-cylinder engine for an aural indulgence, and the plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required. This product is EC/ECE type approved and Euro 5+ compliant.

The other new product in the range is a Slip-On Line (Titanium) for the Ducati Panigale V2 / V2 S and Streetfighter V2 / V2 S. Using race-proven materials, this exhaust takes its inspiration from Grand Prix racing, with its twin conical mufflers finished with honeycomb end-cap covers. The use of high-grade lightweight titanium provides an impressive weight saving of 30.7% (1.0 kg) compared to a standard stock exhaust system. The two mufflers and end caps are sandblasted for a premium finish, and a monochrome logo completes the visual appeal.

Power and torque levels have been increased by 1.3 kW (1.8 hp) at 11,000 rpm and 0.8 Nm at 7,500 rpm, respectively, when assessed against a Ducati Panigale V2 equipped with a standard stock exhaust and measured on the in-house dyno. A deep and sporty sound from the twin engine is produced to create an auditory delight alongside the performance enhancements. The EC/ECE type-approved Slip-On Line (Titanium) is a plug-and-play installation with no remapping necessary, and this version has been designed so the stock heatshield can be used in conjunction with the exhaust.
