Only with Touratech’s extensive range of accessories can the enormous potential of the Yamaha Ténéré 700 be fully unlocked. From chassis tuning to model-specific luggage solutions and rugged protectors, the spectrum ranges all the way to well-designed ergonomic parts. Perfectly suited for all model years, including the latest generation from model 2025 onwards. Like few other current motorcycles, the Yamaha Ténéré 700 combines outstanding off-road capabilities with excellent touring suitability. This brings the machine, known in the scene as the “T7,” very close to the perfect adventure bike. Touratech supplies the equipment that enables adventure riders and touring enthusiasts alike to realize their very own dream bike on this basis.
The latest generation of protectors: protective effect and more
When it comes to vehicle protection, Touratech focuses on ultra-robust, practical solutions. The highlight in this segment is the brand-new fairing crash bar, which has been specially designed for the latest model generation from 2025 onwards. With lines that closely follow the shape of the vehicle and, like its predecessor, made from 25-millimeter-thick stainless steel tubing, the bar offers interesting new features that go far beyond its protective function. The new “Tech Plate,” harmoniously integrated into the design, provides a universally usable fastening element to which a wide variety of soft luggage can be securely attached for easy access and stability on the trail.
Full protection from the oil sump to the handlebars
The range of protectors is complemented by a model-specific version of the tried-and-tested “Expedition” engine guard made from 4 mm strong aluminium. Defensa hand guards and other protectors such as water pump, headlight and ABS sensor guards round off the range.
Functional parts for off-road use
Touratech has developed a whole range of functional improvements for demanding off-road conditions. The brake lever extension and the large “Works” long-distance footrests are specially designed for use with enduro boots. In dusty conditions, an off-road air filter offers outstanding cleaning performance combined with high air flow. And last but not least, a side stand extension improves stability on soft ground.
From soft to hard: Touratech luggage systems for the T7
Touratech offers both hard and soft luggage solutions for transporting luggage on the Yamaha Ténéré 700. Model-specific luggage racks made from 18 x 2 mm strong stainless steel tubing enable the use of various ZEGA aluminum luggage systems. The current top-of-the-range model, ZEGA Evo, features a locking mechanism that is robust enough for off-road use yet comfortable to operate.
Alternatively, heavy-duty, waterproof side bags from the Endurance, Travel, and Extreme Edition series with quick-release fasteners are available for attachment to the stainless steel rack. Those who prefer not to use a rack at all will find the Discovery 2 soft luggage system to be a transport solution that is suitable for both off-road and everyday use and can be attached to the passenger seat using a strap system. Precisely fitting tank bags from the Ambato series and additional bags in various sizes complete the luggage range.
Premium suspension parts for top performance on and off-road
Touratech offers a version of the Cartridge Kit Extreme specially designed for the T7 as an upgrade for the fork. Designed as a cartridge, this system combines suspension and damping in a single unit that replaces the standard inner workings of the fork with its separate functions. Excellent response combined with enormous reserves in extreme conditions are among the advantages of this design principle, which has been proven in professional motorsports, as are the extensive adjustment options for spring preload and rebound and compression damping.
The rear counterpart to the Cartridge Kit Extreme is the Touratech Suspension Extreme 2 shock absorber. Also adjustable in the three basic parameters, this premium shock absorber offers separate adjustment options for the high- and low-speed ranges of the compression damping. Cleanly engaging controls and an extra-wide adjustment range allow for precisely reproducible, individual setups. The choice of materials and design features, such as the high-flow damper piston, the low-friction seal, the large oil volume in the ribbed reservoir, and the hydraulic end stop, are designed for consistent performance even in extreme conditions and outstanding durability. Touratech Suspension parts once again demonstrated their outstanding performance at the 2026 Africa Eco Race. Mike Wiedemann took fourth place overall on his T7 equipped with the Extreme 2 rear shock absorber.
Affordable entry into the world of suspension tuning
As an entry into the fascinating world of chassis tuning, Touratech Suspension offers replacement springs that replace the standard parts in the fork and shock absorber. Thanks to their progressive characteristic curve, they achieve noticeably improved sensitivity on small road imperfections and increased riding stability with heavy loads or sporty riding styles.
Lowering with progressive replacement springs
The lowering kits from Touratech Suspension are an attractive option for people who struggle with the seat height of the Ténéré 700. Like the standard-length spring sets, these have progressive characteristics but lower the vehicle by 35 millimeters. The T7’s excellent off-road capabilities remain largely unchanged.
Small parts, big impact
The Touratech technical upgrade for the T7 is rounded off by functional accessories such as handlebar risers, GPS mounting adapters, and rescue handles, which are based on many years of practical experience in travel and off-road use.
