This weekend, March 14 and 15, MotoXpo, Ireland’s new motorcycle show, arrives at Punchestown Racecourse in County Kildare for a weekend celebrating the very best of two-wheeled culture. The event will take place within Punchestown’s state of the art facilities and will feature a wide range of exhibitions and displays, along with appearances from some of the country’s best known motorcycle stars. MotoXpo brings together racing legends, modern machines, classic bikes and the latest products from across the motorcycle world.
One of the major highlights of the weekend will be the live arena, where the Trialstar trials riding show will take centre stage. This incredible display of skill demonstrates how trials riders use balance, precision and control to seemingly defy the laws of physics on two wheels. Ireland’s most successful international race team, Team 109, will also be in attendance with their race bikes on display alongside their world championship trophy. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see machines from the prestigious Macau Grand Prix, with several RoadHouse race bikes appearing on their stand.
MotoXpo will also feature a number of unique themed displays. In the Classic Village, visitors can explore an impressive collection of classic road and race motorcycles, celebrating the heritage and history of Irish motorcycling. Alongside this will be the Road Race Legends display, which will showcase a selection of historic race bikes and memorabilia from some of the most memorable moments in Irish road racing.
The Road Race Legends experience will continue on Saturday evening with a special chat show event at Lawlors Hotel in Naas at 8pm. Fans will have the opportunity to hear stories and insights from some of the heroes of Irish road racing in what promises to be an entertaining and memorable evening. Another popular attraction will be Sidecar Alley, where visitors can learn about the history of Irish sidecar racing. The display will feature both historic and modern machines, while fans will also get the chance to meet the riders who continue to compete in this unique and exciting discipline.
Throughout the weekend, the MotoXpo Live Stage will host live music, rider interviews, product demonstrations and interactive workshops, offering visitors the chance to engage with experts from across the motorcycle industry. No motorcycle show would be complete without the opportunity to see the latest machines and gear up close. The Exhibition Pavilion will bring together Irish motorcycle dealers and distributors showcasing the newest models, along with rider trainers, travel specialists, clothing brands and a wide range of motorcycle products and services.
MotoXpo takes place on Saturday March 14 and Sunday March 15 at Punchestown Racecourse. Tickets are available through Event Brite.
