Ducati has unveiled the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally in the latest Ducati World Première, evolving its most globe-trotting Multistrada into a machine that goes further, more comfortably and more safely than before. Born from years of development across the Multistrada V4 family—the first in its class to bring a MotoGP-derived V4 with a counter-rotating crankshaft and radar-based rider aids—the Rally targets riders who live for long journeys, solo or two-up, on any road they find. Since its 2023 launch the Rally has built a reputation as an unstoppable travel companion; the 2026 model sharpens that brief with broader capability and a cleaner, tougher look.

Two new liveries make the latest Rally instantly recognisable: Jade Green with gold wheels and Ducati Red with a brushed aluminium fuel tank. The design underscores its purpose, combining grand-touring comfort with a 30-litre tank for serious range, long-travel suspension and spoked wheels for off-road confidence, and reinforced engine guards for rougher tracks. Under the skin, Ducati adds chassis and electronics upgrades that lift versatility, safety and performance. Forward Collision Warning joins the radar suite to alert riders to potential impacts. A new Automatic Lowering Device drops the ride height below 10 km/h to ease footing in town or on trails, then returns the bike to standard height at speed, with distinct on-road and off-road strategies. The Electronic Combined Braking System and semi-active Adaptive Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO adopt more advanced logic, helping the Rally adapt instantly to rider style, load and terrain.

The suspension remains long-travel at 200 mm but is now overseen by an evolved Adaptive Skyhook DSS EVO strategy that can be tailored on the move regardless of Riding Mode. It manages preload automatically to keep the bike level whether you are alone, carrying a passenger or fully loaded with luggage. A new Ducati Vehicle Observer algorithm, derived from Ducati Corse, refines ABS Cornering and Ducati Wheelie Control by estimating the bike’s position and mass more precisely and virtually fusing data from dozens of “sensed” parameters. The combined-brake logic has been enhanced both front-to-rear and rear-to-front, now also adding front brake pressure when only the rear pedal is used to reduce pitch and increase comfort, especially with a passenger.

Lighting and usability take a step forward. Cornering Lights and a more effective headlamp reduce the shadow ahead of the front wheel, the Coming Home function leaves the low beam on briefly after shutdown for night-time convenience, and Ducati Brake Light flashes the rear light under hard deceleration to warn following traffic. An accessory rear fog light can be added for poor visibility days. The 6.5-inch colour TFT gains a refreshed interface that makes suspension adjustments more intuitive and continues to support on-screen navigation, calls and music through the Ducati Connect app. Heated grips are now standard with five levels, and the centre stand has been redesigned to make lifting the bike easier. Comfort for two was a core brief: a windscreen 40 mm wider and 20 mm higher improves protection, pannier mounts are positioned to increase passenger legroom, and a sturdier die-cast top-case support boosts confidence. Multiple seat heights for rider and passenger and a lowering kit allow fine-tuning for any pairing.

Power comes from the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo delivering 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 121 Nm at 8,750 rpm, with a smooth, progressive torque curve and a counter-rotating crankshaft to offset wheel gyroscopic effects. Rear-bank cylinder deactivation at idle and low revs reduces heat and fuel use. The new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 uses a drum-position sensor for a crisper, shorter throw without a microswitch. The aluminium monocoque frame and shell-cast double-sided swingarm remain, with the pivot raised to increase anti-squat for stability under load, and a larger 280 mm rear disc improves braking feel. Lightweight tubeless spoked wheels are standard and now include TPMS readouts on the dash.

True to Multistrada tradition, running costs stay low with valve inspection every 60,000 km and oil services at 15,000 km or 24 months, and peace of mind is reinforced by the 4EVER Ducati four-year unlimited-mileage warranty and Roadside Assistance programme, supported by more than 800 dealers in over 90 countries. Three trims are offered: Radar with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Forward Collision Warning; Adventure Travel & Radar, adding aluminium side cases and heated rider and passenger seats; and Full Adventure, which completes the package with a homologated Akrapovič silencer and carbon front mudguard. Deliveries begin in Europe in November 2025, reach the United States in December 2025 and arrive in Japan and Australia in January 2026. Colours are Ducati Red/Brushed Aluminium with black spoked wheels and Jade Green/Brushed Aluminium with gold spoked wheels, both featuring the brushed aluminium tank that signals the Rally’s intent to go farther, on any road.
